Paul W. Hartzfeld, M.D. Joins Emory Eastside Medical Center

August 31, 2009- Emory Eastside Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Paul Wesley Hartzfeld to the hospital staff.  A neurosurgeon, he received his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio, after being awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  He recently completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he served on the organ donor board.

Dr. Hartzfeld is with Atlanta Neurological Associates, P.A.  He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Michigan Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American Medical Association.  Dr. Hartzfeld’s articles have been published in various professional journals including British Journal of Neurosurgery.  He has done research on surgery for post traumatic epilepsy and presented at numerous conferences.
